The Problem

Challenge & Objectives

Diaspora and local members needed one place to find each other by country, city, and profession, run small ads, support sponsors, and stay in the community — not another generic social or investment app.

02/

The Solution

Architectural Strategy

Nadriverzum wraps discovery, classifieds, chat, and a sponsor shop in a branded network of galaxies. Community tokens and on-chain wallet tools on the web add rewards and in-ecosystem exchange, while the mobile app keeps people connected on the go.

My Contribution

What I implemented

I built the React web app and Expo/React Native mobile client, integrating both with Motoko canisters over Candid APIs.

  • Built the React web application for galaxies, profiles, classifieds, messaging, and token tools.
  • Built the Expo/React Native mobile client for discovery, profiles, messaging, and push notifications.
  • Integrated Motoko canisters via Candid APIs shared by web and mobile.
  • Connected ICRC-1 token flows, Shopify shop, and Stripe subscriptions on the web client.

System Architecture

Two Motoko canisters on the Internet Computer expose Candid APIs: multimemecoin_backend (auth, profiles, galaxies, ads, chat, swaps, staking) and multimemecoinnft_backend (shop, merchants, DAO, rewards, Stripe, NFT minting), plus ICRC-1 token ledgers. The React/Vite site deploys as an ICP assets canister. The Expo app uses the same Candid surface, with Filebase for media and Shopify/Stripe for commerce. Wallet, swap, and staking stay on the web; mobile focuses on discovery and messaging.

Key Features

  • 01Member directory with individual and corporate profiles
  • 02Galaxies and Planetarium — country and profession-based communities
  • 03Classified ads (offer, demand, gift) with in-ad chat
  • 04Direct messaging on web and mobile, with push notifications
  • 05Naša valuta — ICRC-1 community tokens with wallet, swap, and staking on web
  • 06Shopify-backed shop, Stripe subscriptions, and sponsor directory
  • 07DAO voting and gamified rewards
  • 08iOS/Android app (Expo) sharing the same Motoko canister APIs

Engineering Challenges

  • Challenge

Web and mobile needed the same community backend without duplicating profiles, galaxies, ads, and chat.

    Technical Approach

Two Motoko canisters expose Candid APIs. The React/Vite site and the Expo app consume the same canister surface.

    Outcome

iOS/Android and web share member directory, galaxies, classifieds, and messaging against one on-chain backend.

  • Challenge

Wallet, swap, and staking are more involved than mobile discovery and chat.

    Technical Approach

Internet Identity unlocks wallet, swap, and staking on the web. The Expo app focuses on discovery, profiles, messaging, and push notifications.

    Outcome

Advanced token tools stay on nadriverzum.org while mobile keeps people connected on the go.
